Hi all, I am trying to upgrade to SSD with my 2009(Aug) Macbook Pro 13". I upgraded a few years ago to 500GB 7200RPM, and now I want to add a SSD to the optical drive as boot drive. I have read many threads about reliability issues, SATAII negotiated speed issue, etc...
To me, reliability is the most important, and price under $400. To me, there is no point to getting a fast SSD that's problematic, ie: OCZ, OWC. Some highly recommended older models like Intel 320, Samsung 470 are all over my price range.
It seems like these two are the best?
Crucial M4 256GB ($309 @ BandH)
Samsung 830 256GB ($339 @ Newegg)
Hope to hear your advice.
