Hi
My 2009 Macbook Pro regularly "loses" its own internal speakers and will only output sound through cable (and headphones), or via bluetooth. The internal speaker does not cut in or out when it is available and there is no audible fault. When it is unavailable, if I go to system preferences > sound > output, internal speakers is not listed as an option. I have tried removing the audio cable, disabling bluetooth and rebooting with no luck.
Any suggestions about what I can do to get this working consistently again?
Thanks in advance.
