I keep my old MBP in the garage so that I can have handy online reference when I'm working on my old Camaro or doing some other household project there. Its a 2009 model, running OS X 10.6.8 IIRC, and the other day I was trying to stream MSNBC Live and it won't quite connect. I can stream Fox Sports, and several other sites, but it wouldn't work on Safari... it looks like the right screens open in sequence, but when it gets to the screen with the MSNBC logo and the arrow, it goes blank. Most of the screen remains, but the stream window just goes blank. So I tried Chrome, same deal. Does this sound like a hardware issue or a software (OS or Browser) issue? Or both? I've tried clearing the cache, even cleared all my favorites. Anyone?
