2009 MBP + 27" Cinema Display = Doesnt work!

Hey,

I have a 2009 unibody mbp and a 27" cinema display. The display works great but it only works when i keep my mpb open. As soon as i close the lid on the mbp, the cinema display goes off too and doesnt wake up at all anymore. I kept hammering my bluetooth keyboard/mouse but nothing wakes it up.

I checked under system prefs - bluetooth - advanced settings and i cant put a checkmark on the wake-up option.

Any idea how i can close my lid on the mbp and wake up my cinema display?

try a USB mouse or keyboard

I'm using the same setup and the only difference appears that I have the "Allow Bluetooth devices to wake this computer" checked. Not sure why you can't select it. Have you maybe tried restarting?

Yes i restarted many times already.
