My wife's 2009 17" MBP has been faultless all these years, and one week ago we traveled abroad and only got her MBP out today.
It's totally unresponsive to the power button, no screen, DVD drive noise, no fans, nothing.
I tried holding the power button down for 10 or more seconds, still nothing.
Its looking like a trip to the Apple store when we get back to the US, and hopefully they can do the 'Flat-Rate' repair on it.
I've had the back off and all connectors look fine and pushing the battery check button on the side shows a full charge.
Any other things I can try before putting it away for the trip back to the Apple store?
