2009 running Westmere 6-core pair questions

I am wanting to buy a dual quad 2009 2.26 mac pro, run the 2010 firmware and then install a pair of 6 core Westmeres x5660 to x5690's depending on what I can find them for.

I have seen the posts here on the installation of some 5590's. Anything different about the installation I need to know on these Westmeres?

I will need ram and a better video card. Can I run 1333mhz ram ? What ram how much and where would you get it?

The 56xx chips are thicker by about 2.25mm due to them having heat spreaders. I used washers as spacers for the heatsinks and clipped the tabs off of the fans so they'd make the connection.
