2010 11" MBA 2gb ram mavericks?

Does anybody know if my 11" MBA 2010 with 1.4 GHz core 2duo, 2 GB of 1067 MHz ddr3 ram, nvidia geforce 320M 256 mb will run os x mavericks smoothly? I know it can't run lion or mountain lion smoothly as I tried but had to downgrade back to snow leopard. I heard mavericks is better than lion, so has some tried with success??

What performance issues did you see with Mountain Lion on your MBA?

It was very slow, I couldn't even cycle through my chrome tabs without lag.

Do it!

Installed it on a friends MBA (2010 / 2GB RAM) and it runs smooth as butter. Upgraded from Snow Leopard.

Runs great on my late 2010 2GB 13" - better than ML actually.

THanks, I guess I might just take the plunge and try it. Hopefully I won't have to reinstall Snow Leopard like last time.

Clone your HD on an external, install a fresh copy of Mavericks on your SSD, migrate your content from your external backup and you'll be fine.
