My 2010 13" MBP currently has a 500 GB 7200 RPM hard drive in it. I have it partitioned, per Disk Utility, with a 466 GB "Macintosh HD" partition plus a 32 GB "Windows 7" bootcamp partition. I am only using about 50GB on that Mac partition.

When I go to upgrade the drive to the 128 GB SSD, do I need to resize the partition on my 7200 RPM drive first? Or just run the Time Machine (backs up to an external USB drive), pull the 7200 drive, install the SSD, pop in the SL restore disc, and then restore the TM backup to the SSD (without worrying about the size difference)?

I don't care as much about the Windows 7 bootcamp partition since I very rarely use it, which I can backup and restore with Winclone if I decide to. But I want this MBP to run great with Snow Leopard. Thanks!
