Well my 2010 15" i7 glossy high-res finally delivered today, so the first thing I did was grab my FireWire 800 cable to transfer over my data from my 2007 pre-unibody 15" MBP using the migration assistant.
Everything seemed to be going well until it reached about 25% of progress. The screen has been stuck at "About 49 minutes remaining" and the progress bar has not moved an inch in over an hour. It's at the "Transferring documents for the user [my name]" stage.
The hard drive in the 07" MBP is 150 GB, and it still shows the oversized FireWire image moving occassionally on the screen (I guess to show that it has not frozen?)
Anyways, should I continue to let it sit or should I pull the plug and start over? I'm obviously anxious to use the 2010 MBP as I haven't even reached the desktop yet! Any advice would be appreciated.
