It’s here! My 14” M1 Max with 1 TB, 24 GPU.
Waiting for this machine has been a lot of fun. I can’t get over all of the incredible online YouTube content. It’s made the wait and anticipation quite enjoyable.
This will be replacing my beloved 15” 2010 MBP, and essentially my 2008 24” iMac, which is basically a convenient YouTube desktop machine.
Both of which I maxed out the RAM and added each an SSD. So, That’s saying something, considering the MBP, up until today, was used for editing 24MP photos for me. Not quickly, but it did it.
I feel that the my 11 year old MBP has aged quite well, looking at it alongside my new 14” model.
This new notebook is such an incredible thing. It has inspired me to redo my entire desktop setup and build a custom monitor riser stand, from 8/4 thick walnut. Stay tuned for that one.
