2010 cMBP Trackpad Not working randomly?

Hey Guys,

My sister has a classic 13 MBP, upgraded to SSD + HDD and 16GB of ram.

Now every time she has xCode open her trackpad or mouse will randomly stop working and she has to close all applications and reopen them in order for it to be functional again.

Has anyone encountered this? I can imagine it being very very annoying considering she uses xCode quiet a bit.

Apple knows about the keyboard and trackpad randomly not working. They have recently released a patch to try and fix this but I still am getting this problem. The problem still exists after I applied the patch. I have a late 2013 13" mbp retina.

Very very upset.
