I recently had to replace my internal HDD as it failed on me before I got a chance to install Lion on a replacement or a SSD.
So, while replacing the HDD, I added a SSD as well, so now my iMac has 2 hard drives in it, each with no operating system.
My friend was able to give me a thumb drive with the Lion installer on it, but obviously holding down the Option key when booting now does not work from my bluetooth keyboard as I am assuming a bluetooth keyboard only works once the OS detects it.
In order to get Lion installed on my SSD from the thumb drive, do I simply need to use a USB keyboard to force it into Startup Manager via the Alt/Option key?
Thank you for your help!
