Greetings,
I've just recently updated to most recent version of Yosemite OSX after a clean install. Current specs are 500gb Hybrid HDD, 8gb RAM, 2.66 ghz i7. There's not many applications currently installed but for some reason the computer will just get bogged down and come to a complete halt doing simple tasks. The desktop functionality will freeze but Safari and other things will still be somewhat responsive. I've read that Mavericks has been causing issues on older MBP, so is it something I should just take the L on and revert back to snow leopard? Outside of the random freeze ups, every thing else is incredibly snappy.
