I opted for my perfectly working 2010 macbook pro i7 for processor heatsink paste replacment because it was getting little hot and I thought it will be a good idea to get it services as I was really using it for lot of research work as my daily driver...

However, after the paste replacment it is now giving garbage display on power on itself and repair guy who is handling windows and mac machines on regular basis is really not able to understand wht is going wrong with this machine? Tried everthing but nothing seems to be working.

Does anyone has any suggestions? as I really wish to use this mac for couple of more years before I can opt for new macbook. Will really apprciate any kind of help!!

Sorry, that looks like a broken GPU and/or display connection. If it does it right away when turning on, I doubt it's heat related.
