I have a 2010 Macbook pro and I just ordered a minidisplayport to HDMI cord. I was able to get it all set up to my Sylvania 22" HDTV HERE but I can't seem to get the resolution right.

I've tried multiple resolutions both via the control panel and NVidia's control panel. Keep in mind I'm running Windows 7 via bootcamp.

I'm able to get the resolution to look pretty clear, but by doing so it cuts off the edges of the screen, where as if I get it so it all shows up on the screen, it doesn't look as clear. Any ideas?

From personal experience, the overscan setting leaves large borders around the desktop. I managed to get it do display fully (using a completely different Mini-DP to HDMI adapter) by changing the aspect ratio of the TV from 16:9 to a 1:1 pixel setting. Not all TVs have it but it should do what you want if yours does.
