I'm not sure it an upgrade as such, more of a cross grade.

My 2010 MacBook has an error and cannot work it out.
need a good machine for work and my 2012 air is too small is screen and hdd.

so I managed to sell a few old items and bought a 2010 MBP.
my plan is to pull the SSD and the optical bay adaptor with HDD and 8GB RAM & drop straight into the MBP and pretty much carry on from where left off.

the extra ports would be very handy.
I wanted a 2012 model with usb 3 but due to costs had to take the 2010 pro.

under £200 delivered seemed good to me.
still giving 5 hours plus battery too.
