Hi guys,
So I just purchased a Late 2010 MBA A1370 11" which has an expanded battery and needs an urgent replacement. Being relatively new to Macs, I was shocked to find out that the cheapest 3rd party (non Chinese) new battery is 70 euro in my country.
The question is: do later model MBA batteries fit this one? Are there any other A batteries I can install other than the. A1370? This one is more expensive to purchase than the 2011 one- are they the same?

Apologies if I am posting in the wrong place, I can't seem to find anything on this anywhere.
Thanks

As far as I can tell only the 2010 11" MBA used that battery. It is unlikely any other model battery will fit or mount correctly.

The only brands I'm aware of which are any good in Macs are NuPower, iFixit, Ninjabatt and Puredick. At least they generally have good reviews. Couldn't say if they are good in your specific model. I used to use Anker batteries. They always worked well. But it seems they got out of the battery business. At least for Macs. I ultimately chose Ninjabatt for my MBP but haven't installed it yet.
