Hi all, I have a 2010 13" MBA in great condition, except that all of a sudden it started crashing. It took me awhile to figure it out, and multiple negative virus scans, but the problem seems to be the battery.
The computer will run fine as long as it's plugged in; when the magsafe is unplugged, the computer will crash in anywhere from 15 seconds to 10 minutes. Again, this does not happen while plugged in. The "about my mac" says that the battery is "normal".
The battery, if at 60% or so, will take 13-20 hours to charge.
So....has anyone had this happen before? I think the problem is the connection to the battery, not the battery itself. I will take it in (thankfully have AppleCare) but am curious (and frustrated) to see if this is a problem with anyone else, and what happened.

Thanks!

Just wonder how many cycles you have on it? My 2010 13 MBA has 230 cycles, and it's still going strong.
