Hi guys,

Anyone here with a 2010 MBP 15" running on Mountain Lion 10.8.1 care to share if your MBP is affected by the short battery life issue...?

I've been searching around and all I get are benchmarks of newer Macs, but no reference to 2010 models or earlier.

Thanks.

Hi,

i have one as discribed in the sig. I haven't experienced any of the battery issues when upgrading to 10.8 and 10.8.1, it's been fine for me. Do you have a shorter battery life now?

Thanks for the input. I guess I have to test it out. I've yet to take the plunge on Mountain Lion, but so far my battery can only last me 4 hours on Snow Leopard with display on half brightness and moderate browsing on Wi-Fi...

My battery capacity is about 84% with 291 cycles on the clock. Used to last me 6 hours brand new. So much for Apple's acclaimed 80% on 1,000 cycles...
