2010 MBP 15" won't charge.

Hi all,

Was overjoyed to get this shiny new bit of kit last week delivered and after 5 days I plug in the power adapter this morning like usual and nothing happens. Seems to have been fine charging overnight but now I've brought it to work, it won't charge.

The macbook won't even acknowledge the charger. No light comes on, nor does the battery indicator change. Shall go pester apple later today.

no that would involve trouble shooting. where as it is much more fun to bug the geniuses.

Yes, I've tried different outlets and now even different power adapters from other users in the office, but the macbook won't recognise anything. Seems its a hardware issue with the macbook itself.

Thanks for the helpful suggestions though.
