2010 MBP battery in late 2009 MBP

I have a late 2009 MBP 13". Can I put the new 2010 MBP's battery in my MBP?

What would be the point? The increased battery life is due to a combination of hardware and software changes, all of which you won't be able to do with your 09 MBP.

They did, but only marginally. You'd be looking at an extra 20 minutes or so under the best circumstances.
