2010 MBP Charger with Older 13 in Macbook?

Hi, I have a new 2010 MBP with the 85W charger with the redesigned connector. My GF has an older 13 in macbook. Her 60W charger charges my MBP, but my charger does not charge hers. Is there any way to get hers to charge off my adapter?

I would have thought it would be the other way around. Is it because of the new connector?
