i have a macbook with 2.4 ghz, 4 gigs of ram and snow leopard 10.6.5 and I noticed it is sluggish. There is a screenshot of activity monitor.

This is my first mac after hearing such good things but so far i'm disappointed.

Help would be appreciated.

Liam,

The programs running look normal. Had to look up caffeine as was unsure of that. You have 1+ gigs of available ram so adding more will not speed up anything per say.

How would you explain it is sluggish?

What hard drive do you have (this would be an area to speed up the system).

I was just getting lots of spinning balls but its good i fixed it with onyx. Tanks for the reply. How do I close a thread?
