2011 13" base model - 7200rpm HDD upgrade

I ordered the new 2011 13" base model. I want to purchase a 7200rpm HDD that swap with the stock 5400rmp.

1) How much of a speed improvement would it make?
2) What would be the battery expectations?
3) How much more noise if any would it yield?

1. 10% maybe, noticeable, but not really that much faster. Take a look at the Momentus XT.
2. Not much less battery time, maybe 15 minutes or so.
3. More audible, but not by much, in my experience. Though I have gone to an SSD already.

1. Depends on the model and capacity. It should be noticeable though.

2. What I've heard, it only reduces battery life by 30 mins or so, although it again may depend on the drive and usage.

3. Again, depends on the drive, usage, environment and yourself.
