Dealing with a 2011 i5 13" MacBook Pro, and an AirPort Extreme N.

Had a 2009 and 2010 MBP and they always connected immediately upon waking(maybe 2 seconds as most). My girlfriend's 2008 Black MacBook also connects very quickly.

My new 13" MBP takes 6-10 seconds to connect upon waking from sleep. It's not the end of the world, but it's a bit irritating.

Any ideas?

For future reference, I deleted the com.apple.systempreferences.plist file, all Airport related keychain references, rebooted and still had the issue. I opened the airport prefpane, deleted a bunch of old networks and my main network, reentered the password and moved the network to the top of the list. Seems to be fine now.

good to know. I suppose that moving it to the top of the preferences might have had something to do with it. What do you think?
