I've got a 2011 13" MBP running 10.6.8 that is experiencing intermittent keyboard issues. Occasionally upon booting up the keyboard is unresponsive and will not allow you to enter a password. The track pad moves the mouse but does't respond to clicks so you can't even get the cursor in the text box or click any of the buttons to restart.
In the past this happened a small handful of times and was "fixed" with a reboot but today it's persistent. I'm trying to avoid reloading the OS as it is an encrypted drive. I'd either have to decrypt for 20 hours or wipe and reload.
I've searched here and other pages for anyone with similar issues and have not been able to find anything. Anyone have any ideas?
