I just upgraded to the new 2011 MBP 13' low end. I upgraded my hard drive to the Samsung 1TB. I was just wondering why does the fans of the 2011 kick in faster while watching flash videos compared to my old 2010 MBP which was the entry level also?

Because of the i5 processor. People have been complaining about the 2011 MacBooks getting hot faster than the older ones since they came out.

So there is no way to prevent the fans from kicking in every so often?
