I have a late 2011 MBP with upgraded 8gigs of ram (myself) a 128gb ssd apple hd and then a 750 gb data doubler. Starting this spring my laptop started getting really overheated and the fans are always really loud. I still have apple care but are they just going to say it is the data doublers fault and basically tell me to go **** myself. I have the original disc drive should I just take the time to put it back in and then bring it there? I already tried opening up and cleaning them but I dont really know what the issue is. I have had issues with my computer ever since I installed mountain lion, it absolutely killed the battery life. Really appreciate the help!

Absolutely. If you are under AppleCare, then have them take care of your system.
