I want to buy the MacBook Pro Unibody 15inch now, but I'm worry about the MacBook Pro of redesign may come in 2012, however, there are some bugs in the first generation of brand new MacBook Pro. I can't wait until 2013 to get the second generation of MacBook Pro, which MacBook Pro is batter?

Is it really too much to ask to scroll down the first page? Seriously, it's always the same threads. And always the same answers:

Need it? Buy it!

No guarantee that there is a redesign!

oh, of course I need, I need a MacBook Pro which is beautiful inside and outside

I would wait until 2016 . . I heard that's the really cool one!

Yea . . This topic comes up several times a day . . . wow.

The current one of course, as the 2012 MBP doesn't exist yet, at least outside of Apple. So in all earnest, how can we compare something that is with something that isn't? Or do you want to start a philosophical debate?
Even the Pismos were beautiful in their time.

Anyway, just wait and come back next year. Please.

Look, I was going to get a macbook pro in 2010 but waited because I thought there was going to be a whole new re-design... I was wrong... Just a notch down from grapics card and a thunderbolt which is USELESS now... Im so mad I waited... SOOOO not worth it..

By the way, i think the aluminum is nice... it goes really good with the light up keyboard and everything...!!! so ya id buy it now.....

Buy 2011 MBP, if you absolutely need to have the new 2012 when it comes out, sell your '11 at a loss and get the '12.

Well neither is/will taste good so I'd say neither is batter. In all seriousness, the 2012 MacBook Pro will likely be better but there's really no telling.

dumbest thread ever!

But no really, in all seriousness wait until at least 2013 because they will have cups holders, credit monitoring, 20mp facetime camera, built in printer with scan and fax and 4G and a whole bunch of cool stuff.

The 2012 is likely to have lower power CPU, and therefore is less likely to fry.

Hence, 2011 MBP is batter.

This is "batter":

As for which one is "better"... the 2012 will obviously be better. Question is whether the wait will be worth it. Just buy a MBP once you need one.

Think again. The 2012 MBP is going to be cooler because of 22 nm CPU and GPU from Nvidia and ATI are getting a die shrink too. So everything about the MBP will become more faster while being cooler. ;)

Lower power CPU doesn't mean a weaker cpu. It's just more efficient.

WTF??? Perhaps you should read what I wrote again. Then learn some humour, and read it a second time. "Lower power" in said context obviously means lower power draw.
