I took apart my imac in order to install a ssd into the third SATA connection, as per this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOf0svk5FdY&index=9&list=PLV6G5UHzWDx2ru-g_V9DCSmlGnr-O1mmq
Unfortunately I cannot get my logic board back into place. It seems like I can't get the RAM ports far enough down to align both the usb ports and the heat sink properly. There doesn't seem to be any obstructions, it's just not going far enough down to get everything into place. Anyone experienced with the internals of this machine able to advise how to get the logic board back into place? All help is very much appreciated at this point...
edit: close examination reveals a gap of about 1/4'' between RAM ports and bottom of the case. I can't seem to get it any closer though, despite MANY tries.
