2011 Air Keyboard+Trackpad unresponsive

Hey, I'm on 10.8.2 on a 2011 11 inch Air.

Everytime I plug my iPhone into my MacBook Air, the trackpad and keyboard become unresponsive. To get them to respond, I have to either play with the trackpad for 5 seconds or press keys over and over again for 5 seconds.

Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like it started after I updated to 10.8.2 but I can't say for sure.
