2011 iMac - Backblaze causing crashes

I am having real troubles running Backblaze on my new iMac 27". Its keeps causing the machine to lockup 2 or 3 times a day, meaning I have to do a forced power down.

Currently its uninstalled and the mac is running fine, anyone experienced anything similar with Backblaze?

No problems at all with 10.7.1 with 2010 27" iMac

I've been having the same problem too. I'm still on Snow Leopard 10.6.8

It's also taking an enormously long time to back up my system. I've been running Backblaze since October and it's only backed up 168GB of the 500GB I need backed up.

I'm thinking this may not have been the best backup solution.
