So I have the new May 2011 27" iMac with the i5 3.1ghz. When I am booted into Windows via bootcamp, I can feel the heat emanating from the screen. I can be working or even gaming on the OSX side and never get this heat emanating from the screen. I can just leave the Windows idle and it will generate this heat. Something isn't right.

Has anyone else run into this or have a recommendation to remedy this? Settings I can do to Windows for example?

Probably not necessary during general use but when I'm gaming on the Windows side of things I use SMC Fan Control.

You can ramp the fans up (and create fan speed profiles) whilst in OSX and when you Restart to go into the Windows partition the tweaked fan speeds are remembered and help keeps things a little cooler.
