Hello,
I need your help.
I have a new 2011 i5 27 inch iMac.
It has the standard 1tb hard drive.
I'm getting a real puzzling situation...
I'm getting constant CRC errors when decompressing large archives.
I download them with Unison and then unison check the files and either gives the all clear or repairs the files if needed with par2 files.
Then, if Unison decompresses the files, I get error.
If I decompress them myself with unrarX, I get CRC errors...
This is really puzzling... I did this same procedure with my previous Macbook Pro and only if the files couldn't be repaired with par2, I would get errors.
If Unison gave the all clear, I would unrar them with 0 problems...
What can be the issue here?
Please help me out.
Thank you.
Best wishes!
