Got a 2011 21.5" imac 2.7 i5 quad running mavericks and the bluetooth and usb both stopped working. I get no power from the usb at all. The computer boots up fine and but the keyboard and mouse don't work on either bluetooth or usb so I'm stuck at the login. I took out the hard drive and put in a hard drive with snow leopard and auto logs into the os and it boots up fine again but still no usb or bluetooth. I put in a flash drive but the light does not come on and it doesn't show on the desktop.

I tried using a powered usb hub but again nothing. This happened after a storm here but the computer was plugged into a surge protector. I've tried SMC reset, even pulled the motherboard battery out and put back in and still nothing.

Any ideas? The cheapest motherboard on ebay is $300. Doesn't seem worth it. Sucks too because this imac is mint with a perfect screen and I have the orignal box and everything.
