Hi All,

First time on this post, I have a problem playing 4K videos on my 2011 Mac Mini.

Specs
- 16 GB Ram
- 250 GB Samsung SSD
- HDMI cable out to Amp then AMp had HDMI to TV

1080P videos play fine, but when I play a 4K video which is 20GB the file opens on VLC, there is voice but the picture doesn't move. I see this is a common problem, but have not found any solutions online to solve this.

Does anyone have experienced with this and know how to resolve this as I would like to start using 4k since the TV can support it.

Thanks
