Hello,

I'm having an issue with my 2011 13" MBP where I cannot use the bluetooth. When I click on the bluetooth icon in the menu bar it just says "bluetooth unavailable". I've reset the PRAM, and SMC, deleted the bluetooth plist file from preferences, and even taken the laptop apart and cleaned all the connectors going to the bluetooth module to no avail.

I got the laptop used, and the bluetooth worked when I got it but I can't get it to work anymore. I installed MacOS Catalina but the bluetooth worked for a while after I installed it.

Only thing I can think of is that the bluetooth module is fried, but if I recall correctly, the bluetooth and wifi are on the same module and my WiFi is working fine, if the bluetooth was fried wouldn't the wifi also fail?
