2011 Macbook Pro 15 Language settings on boot

Hi

Not sure if this is the right place, but will try it anyway. I have sold macbook pro 2011, where originaly I had Polish language set on it. Reinstalled the system and changed it to English. Now, new owner claims that he tried to reinstall system and on boot everything's in foreign language and he doesnt know how to change it. Is there a way to reset it back to english?
