This is from a 2011 Macbook Pro (820-2936). Is there any way to test Q3880? It's a little fragile block that breaks easily. It seems to be a problem on a lot of boards I work on. The outer casing is conductive and I can usually measure voltage on it thru the clear silicone blob that's always on it.

On this board I am measuring 12v in on pin 4 like I should... but the outer casing and pins 2 and 3 are only showing .2v

I lifted one side of L3895 and removed the two decoupling caps C3890 and C3890 and now am showing 10.5v on pins 2 and 3 of Q3880. Still not sure what that means but I assume that clears Q3880 of being bad.
