2011 Macbook Pro - can not output to TV "anymore"!

Until few days ago, i was able to output my videos (both from mac partition and from Windows 8 bootcamp partition) to my TV through thunderbolt to HDMI connector.. life was good... all of a sudden, it stopped... tried different connectors, different HDMI cable, other monitors... no luck. Any help would be appreciated...

I assume that you replaced the Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter itself? I could not tell from the original post. Does anything appear if you use the "Detect Displays" option in OS X?

Thunderbolt... Detect display does not see the 2nd display..

Try turning on your TV first before you plug it to your MBP?

Try starting in Clamshell mode.
