I have a 2011 15" Macbook Pro (2.3Ghz Core i7, 4gb ram, 1gb 6750m radeon, hi-res antiglare, 128gb ssd).

Does anyone know what a similar configuration would roughly be in a pc desktop (as in cpu wise and videocard)?

An i7-2600 would probably be the equivalent (ish) CPU, and I'm not sure about the GPU, but a desktop 6770 would destroy the 6750m in terms of performance, and shouldn't be too expensive.

No way. The 2600 is a lot faster. The closest desktop CPU would probably be the 2500T (2.3GHz, 45W). The GPU won't compare well to desktop variants. Maybe similar to a 5670.

In benchmarks, the 2600 really isn't a ton faster. The only problem with the 2500t is that it doesn't have the hyperthreading. The 2600S might be a bit closer, as its base clock is 2.8, but otherwise, the 2.3 mobile i7 will be faster than any of the i5s.
