After recently purchasing my new 13" macbook pro about a week ago with an INCASE black hard case http://rushfaster.com.au/p/incase-hardshell-case-for-13-quot-macbook-pro-blueberry/INC-CL57646/ this one but in black
i noticed after comparing it to my friends new macbook pro which he purchased today was that it was slightly looser than his and when i angled it vertically the lid would fall shut or when angling upside down the screen would swing back as far as it could while his remained in place perfectly

Is this a worrying factor or default in my mac or does the hinge loosen over time should i bother takin it to apple? .. or is it due to the weight of the hardcover?

You've not defined "hardcover ?"

What kind, brand, description?

No, yes, no, yes.

It will loosen up overtime and the added weight will add to that. Just enjoy it while it's nice and tight cuz she wont stay like that forever. ^_-
