Hey Everyone!

My MacBook Pro (see signature) has been acting strangely for the past few days. The computer is still working like a charm but the SD Card port doesn't read anything.

I've tried connect multiple cards, an SMC/ PRAM reset, and power cycling the computer a few times. I'll call AppleCare tomorrow to see what else I can try to fix it. If you have any suggestions, please share.

If there actually is a problem with the SD Card port, what do you think the resolution would be? Replaced port? Replaced logic board? If the logic board is replaced... I don't have to restore the computer... right?

Mine works fine. I would think that only the slot port would need replacing, but I'm not a technician. Be sure to report it to :apple: before you do anything... :)

Sandisk Extreme cards may not work in the current MBP.

That's quite interesting, since that's what I use. I also tried a Kingston and that didn't work either. Nice computer btw. I want to upgrade my HDD to an SSD soon and put in 8 gigs of RAM too.
