2011 macbook Pro SSD is slow

I'm new to mac. Bought a 2011 15" Macbook pro. I installed 8 gigs of Ram and a Plextor PX-M2 Series PX-128M2S. I used Novabench from the app store to test it out and it's showing my write speed as 108MB/s. Well below the 400 it says it can do. I'm running OSX Lion and have TRIM enabled. Is there another setting I'm missing or is there a better benchmarking software? I have it installed where the original hd was and kept the optical drive.

These tests are not accurate.

Use it and stop worrying about a silly number.

Might be due to this:

Random Read (IOPS 4K): 15,000

Random Write (IOPS 4K): 9,000

Crucial does 40k-50k.
