I was just curious as to what people would think in terms of buying a used 2011 macbook pro. With the recent GPU problems, is it worth the risk to get? While I can afford a 15'' 2012 used from ebay, there's a bunch of matte screen 2011's roaming around as well and I'd really love a matte screen as it'd be nice to edit photos on than a glossy screen.
So, is it worth the risk for a 2011 matte screen or should I fight for a 2012 and just buy a matte screen overlay off amazon or something?
