2011 MBA trackpad sunken in on left side

The left side of my MBA is no longer flush with the rest of the notebook. The right side is, but the left side is sunken a millimeter or so. Not a huge deal, but annoying to to brush against the side. Anyone else have this problem? Is it normal wear & tear or something that I should have looked at? I'm planning on taking it into the store under applecare to see if they can adjust it.
