Okay, here's the situation:
I have a 2011 MacBook Pro that had a 120GB SSD in the normal hard drive spot and a 500GB HDD in the optical bay.
I was given a 256GB SSD that I wanted to swap in place of my HDD - so I would have two SSDs in my MBP.
I used Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the 500GB HDD to the 256GB SSD (in an external enclosure), then I swapped them.
I had to rename the new SSD to the same name as the old HDD in order to get my computer to even start up, but now all of my licenses are gone, my applications (which were on the 120GB SSD) won't open because they can't find their profiles, etc. Is there a way that I can just reset the profiles, etc. of all of my applications?
What did I do wrong? Does anyone have any tips as to how I can fix this? Please help!
Thanks everyone
