Hey guys so during use battery is basically how it was barely if any improvement which is ok no complaints.

However during sleep it is pulling way more battery than it use to. I always leave it on sleep and throughout the day i will normally see 5% +- battery drain, i left it on for 1.5 days without touching came back from a full charge and its 58%?

not sure if i need to reset SMC or PRAM or what but this is concerning.

any suggestions?

Thanks!

It sounds like it's not staying in sleep mode the whole time. Under normal circumstances, you should be consuming about 1% of battery power for every hour of sleep.

For sleep issues, you may find some useful ideas here:

I don't have sleep issues per se, but am generally getting less battery life on a full charge across all conditions (including sleep).

I've also noticed that it's using quite a bit more RAM than ML. As I have 16GB this isn't a problem, but whereas in ML I only ever needed more than 6GB for running a windows VM, now I find that in regular Mavericks use free RAM dips below 10GB quite often.
