Hi guys.

For the past 5 months with my 2011 MBP, I have a bluetooth issue.
I have been losing connections to my Apple wireless mighty mouse and Apple wireless keyboard.

At first i didn't care. Until it became really often and couple of min ago I just lost connection to both and cannot reconnect.

My mouse and keyboard didnt respond and couple sec later it told me "connection lost".
I tried to reconnect it manually by deleting the bluetooth mouse and keyboard from system pref. and go through the whole "search new bluetooth device" thing.
But now, it doesnt even find any bluetooth devices.
My mouse nor my keyboard.
And yes the power is on for both of them and battery it near 90%

Anyone else having the same problem with your bluetooth in 2011 MBP?
Im thinking to restart my computer and try again...
If this does not work, going to genius bar

Just curious... Are you using your MacBook Pro in clamshell mode, (shut) connected to an external display or anything?
I used to use my 13" and 15" Macbook pros in clamshell mode, about 3ft from where my keyboard and mouse were. I commonly experienced what I would call mouse and typing lag, as well as dropped connections from both devices.

Nope.
Not even in clamshell nor external monitor.

I have this issue with my MBP when its connected to the ACD. Did you ever find a solution? Also, when my Bose Soundlink bluetooth is connected the audio will slow down and speed up and have interference randomly. It is frustrating.

Yes, making the device a favorite worked for me.
Go to bluetooth in system preferences.
Select the device you want, and click the gear, then click "show more info".
Next click that same gear again, and click add to favorites.
