2011 MBP Diagonal Row of Keys Not Functioning

no liquid spilled, just last week a diagonal row of keys decided to stop functioning.
The F9, 9, O,L, . , Up and Down arrow keys do not work.
 
Some contact must be broken on the keyboard layer, or on ribbon cable connecting to board. Reseating cable or replacing keyboard are likely only possibilities.
